New Year, New You: Setbacks

Well, this was one of those weeks. It all began with my 2 year old daughter who got a sinus and ear infection in the middle of last week. A few days later my 4 year old came down with the stomach flu- and get this one: one hour before my husband and I were about to go on a date! Two days after that I was in my pediatricians office with my 8 month old who had caught RSV.

So that was stressful enough. Needless to say workouts went out the window and I ate only when I could and what I could.

Oh and not to mention I got sick with the stomach flu and am slowly recovering today. So in short, it was one hey hey of a week! I did lose weight, about 5 lbs- not the way I wanted to though. I am sure most of it is water weight anyway.

So here is to next week: Portion Control.

I'm going back to sleep now. Well, with one eye open............................ If you haven't by now, and are trying to get back into shape (or like me, some type of vertical position) then please join the hop hosted by:

  2. Aww you poor thing! If it makes you feel better, this week has been my first week of setbacks as well. But hang in there and just get back into as soon as you can. Even if it's just a little bit!
